Sono i Romagna Roosters, compagine nata dall’unione per la diffusione del football americano in Romagna tra Ravenna Chiefs e Faenza Broncos, i primi vincitori della Mediterranean Cup. La finale si è svolta ieri sera contro i Mustangs Mantova ed è terminata con il punteggio di 44 a 12 per i giocatori romagnoli.
La squadra ha dimostrato di aver tenuto correttamente il campo imponendo un bel gioco in attacco e tanta tenacia in difesa. MVP della serata il giovane runningback Michele Mazzotti, che ha dimostrato non solo ieri ma anche durante il torneo una grande capacità di lettura di gioco, forza di volontà e tecnica.
